The Program
Our artist-in-residence program is designed for established and emerging artists seeking dedicated time and space to develop their practice. We provide accommodation, studio facilities and gallery free of charge to selected artists aligned with the Quattro Archi philosophy as part of our contribution to the world of art!
Located in the heart of Barga, Tuscany, Quattro Archi provides a professional studio environment with natural light, painting and drawing equipment, printmaking facilities, and all the equipment you may need.
Residencies are available for periods ranging from two weeks to three months. You'll have 24/7 studio access, comfortable accommodation, and the freedom to work at your own pace. The program is open to artists working in printmaking, drawing, painting, other media and related disciplines.
Beyond the studio, you'll find inspiration in Barga's medieval architecture, the surrounding Tuscan landscape, and a welcoming community of local artists and makers.

What's Included
Who It's For
Our residency program welcomes artists at all career stages who are committed to developing their practice. We're particularly interested in artists working in printmaking, drawing, painting, textiles, and book arts.
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and excited about the opportunity to immerse themselves in their work. Previous experience with printmaking techniques is helpful but not required—we can provide guidance and support.
