Printmaking using a variety of techniques to create really impressive results inspired by the sights and sounds of Barga.

This course includes 5 days of drawing, painting and silk screen printing on natural fabrics and/or paper. Simple techniques will be taught and Carole encourages the development of personal projects inspired by the beautiful surroundings to make artworks, experimental textile pieces, and/or scarves as you prefer. No textile experience is required, just a love of colour and play!

The workshop aims to introduce students to the vast world of bookbinding, learning the most important structures ending with the creation of the classic multi-section case binding.

The week will include 5 sessions of printmaking. There will also be an opportunity to exhibit your work in an intimate professional gallery environment at the end of the week if you would like to.
